![]() ![]() ![]() The Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians revealed that it spent some $110 million seven years ago to construct its Harrah’s Cherokee Valley River Casino and Hotel property before expending approximately $14 million in 2017 so as to add a ten-pin bowling alley, a full-service restaurant and a casino bar. The federally-recognized tribe used a Monday report in its Cherokee One Feather newspaper to detail that the upcoming project will add about 315,158 sq ft to the existing Cherokee County facility encompassing an expanded casino, a new hotel tower with a rooftop restaurant, a 1,700-spot parking deck and an indoor fitness center.
